   I let this hit me hard, and was deeply depressed. After blowing up and telling my Dad he could put whatever name he wanted in my obituary. He took offense to this as though I would just use suicide to get what I wanted. I honestly tried 3 times to hurt/end myself before I came to want to live again. He had already started trying to call me by my current name after the first attempt, without knowing of any of the attempts.
